Materials:

You can use any kind of yarn with matching hook size.

Abbreviations US terms:

beg beginning

st stitch/stitches

ch chain

slst slip stitch

sc single crochet

hdc half double crochet

dc double crochet

tr treble crochet

slst2tog work 2slst together

sc2tog work 2 sc together

Instructions:

Work 12 dc in a ring.

2dc in every stitch across

6 times: 1slst, 1hdc, 5dc in same st, 1hdc.

6 times: 3dc , 2dc , 1hdc, sc2tog, 1hdc, 2dc.

6 times: 3dc, 2dc, (1hdc, 1dc), 1sc, slst2tog, 1sc, (1hdc,1dc), 2dc,

6 times: 11sc, sc2tog.

(Start at top) 6 times: 1sc in next 2 st , 1hdc, 1dc in next 2 st, 1tr, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr), 1tr, 1dc in next 2 st, 1hdc, 1sc.

You can sew the hexagon’s together or join them as you go like this:

Take hook out after your first treble, put it through the 1 chain space from finished motif and pick up loop again.

Pull loop through and make the chain (which is more like a slst now.)

Work  the treble in same stitch, take hook out en put it through the treble from the finished motif, pick up the loop and pull it through.

Work the tr in next st and take hook out again and put it through the next st from finished motif, pull up the loop again and pull it through.

Follow the pattern and take hook out with every stitch and pick up the stitches from finished motif. Always skip the last stitch from the finished motif (see arrow). Pull loop through 1 chain space,

make the chain, follow the pattern and finish your motif.
