Materials:
You can use any kind of yarn with matching hook size.
I used a 100% mercerized cotton 50gr/125m with hook size 3mm
Like:
Abbreviations US terms:
beg beginning
st stitch/stitches
ch chain
slst slip stitch
sc single crochet
hdc half double crochet
dc double crochet
tr treble crochet
fsc foundation single crochet
fhdc foundation half double crochet
fdc foundation double crochet.
ftr foundation treble
Special stitches:
fsc: insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 1 loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
fhdc: yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 1 loop, yarn over and pull through 3 loops.
fdc: yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 1 loop, [yarn over and pull through 2loops] 2x
ftr: yarn over twice, insert hook, yarn over, pull through a loop, yarn over, pull through 1 loop, [yarn over and pull through 2loops] 3x.
Note:
When inserting the hook in the foundation of a previous foundation stitch, make sure you insert through front and back loop.
Instructions:
With color 1 make magic ring
Round 1: 1ch (does not count as a st), 10sc in ring.
Round 2: (1sc, 1hdc) in first st from round 1, 2dc in next st, take hook out and leave long loop, *join new color (color 2) with a slst in the same st as last dc (this does not count as a st), (1sc, 1hdc) in next st, 2dc in next st, take hook out and leave long loop, repeat from* with color 3, 4 and 5.
Round 3: pick up loop from color 1 and *work 1dc in the sc from round 2 from next color, 2dc in next st, 1dc in next st, 2dc in next st, take hook out leave long loop, pick up loop from next color (color 2) and repeat from *, with color 3, 4 and 5.
Pinky: continue with color 5, 1dc in next st, in this same st, work 1fdc, then work 1fdc in the foundation of previous stitch 5 times, 1fhdc in foundation of previous stitch, 1fsc in foundation of previous stitch, quarter turn clockwise and now work in the foundation stitches, 1sc in next 6st, 1hdc in next st, dc2tog in the fdc and same st as dc from beg of pinky(see photo tutorial), skip 2 st and slst in next, cut yarn fasten off.
Ring finger: pick up color 4, 1dc in next 3st, work 1fdc in the same st as last dc, then work 1fdc in the foundation of previous stitch 7 times, 1fhdc in foundation of previous stitch, 1fsc in foundation of previous stitch, quarter turn clockwise and now work in the foundation stitches, 1sc in next 8 st, 1hdc in next st, dc2tog in the fdc and same st as dc from beg of ring finger, skip 2 st and slst in next, cut yarn fasten off.
Middle finger: pick up color 3, 1dc in next 2st, 2dc in next st, 1dc in next 3st, work 1fdc in the same st as last dc, then work 1fdc in the foundation of previous stitch 9 times, 1fhdc in foundation of previous stitch, 1fsc in foundation of previous stitch, quarter turn clockwise and now work in the foundation stitches, 1sc in next 10st, 1hdc in next st, dc2tog in the fdc and same st as dc from beg of middle finger, skip 2 st and slst in next, cut yarn fasten off.
Index finger: pick up color 2, [1dc in next 2st, 2dc in next st] 2x, 1dc in next 4st, work 1fdc in the same st as last dc, then work 1fdc in the foundation of previous stitch 7 times, 1fhdc in foundation of previous stitch, 1fsc in foundation of previous stitch, quarter turn clockwise and now work in the foundation stitches, 1sc in next 8st, 1hdc in next st, dc2tog in the fdc and same st as dc from beg of index finger, skip 2 st and slst in next, cut yarn fasten off.
Thumb: pick up color 1, (1dc, 1tr) in next st, [2tr in next st] 2x, 1tr in next 2 st, [2tr in next st, 1tr in next st] 3x, work 1ftr in the same st as last tr, then work 1fdc in the foundation of previous stitch 5 times, 1fhdc in foundation of previous stitch 2x , quarter turn clockwise and now work in the foundation stitches, 1hdc in next 2st, 1dc in next 5st, work a dc and tr together in the next fdc and same st as tr from beg of thumb, skip 3 st and slst in next, cut yarn fasten off.
Weave in all ends.
