More than a year ago I started with this square but guess I got distracted cause I totally forgot about it!
But I picked it up again and this time I did make a pattern!
You can get the free photo tutorial below or support me by purchasing the ad-free PDF, fully written version with charts in my Etsy or Ravelry shop.
Or pin this pattern here on Pinterest for later.
Materials:
You can use any kind of yarn with matching hook size.
I used Stylecraft Special DK 100% acrylic 100gr/295m with hook 4mm
Measurements: my square measures about 12x12cm
Abbreviations US terms:
beg beginning
ch chain
ch-sp chain space
dc double crochet
dtr double treble crochet
edc extended double crochet
hdc half double crochet
sc single crochet
slst slipstitch
st stitch/stitches
sp space
tr treble crochet
Extended Double Crochet: starts out like a normal dc, yarn over once and insert hook, draw up a loop (three loops on hook), yarn over and draw through one loop (three loops on hook). Yarn over, draw through two loops twice.
I left long ends and used those to sew the squares them together. But of course you can join them anyway you like! And you know what? Even the back looks great.
