Just in time to make these cute hearts for Valentine’s day! They are the perfect stash busters, you can make them with any kind of left over yarns you got!
You can get the FREE video or pattern below or support me by purchasing the ad-free PDF version with fully written text and charts of this pattern in my Etsy or Ravelry shop.
Materials:
I used a 100% cotton yarn, 100g, 150m/164yds with a 3,5mm hook.
Size: the heart measures about 10x10cm/ 4×4”
Abbreviations US terms:
ch chain
dc double crochet
dc-tog double crochet together
edc extended double crochet
hdc half double crochet
sc single crochet
sc-tog single crochet together
slst slipstitch
st stitch/stitches
edc starts out like a normal dc, yarn over once and insert hook, draw up a loop (three loops on hook), yarn over and draw through one loop (three loops on hook). Yarn over, draw through two loops twice.
Pattern info:
- The heart is worked in the round, only on the right side.
- If you think the 2ch at the beginning of a round are too tight, feel free to do 3 instead.
