Materials:
You can use any kind of yarn with matching hook size.
I used Stylecraft Special DK with hook 4mm for the tree and hook 3mm for the star.
Abbreviations US terms:
ch chain
dc double crochet
fdc foundation double crochet
hdc half double crochet
mr magic ring
RS right side
slst slipstitch
st stitch/stitches
sc single crochet
WS wrong side
fdc: yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 1 loop, yarn over and pull through 2loops, yarn over and pull through 2loops
Note:
When inserting the hook in the foundation of a previous foundation stitch, make sure you insert through front and back loop.
All stitches are worked in back loop only!








Repeat row 2 and 3 until you got 7 rows, don’t turn, pick up the loops from the turning chains of row 6,4 and 2.

Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook
