Materials:
You can use any kind of yarn with matching hook size.
Abbreviations US terms:
beg beginning
st stitch/stitches
ss slip stitch
ch chain
sc single crochet
hdc half double crochet
dc double crochet
edc extended double crochet
tr triple crochet
dtr double triple crochet
Extended Double Crochet:starts out like a normal dc, yarn over once and
insert hook, draw up a loop (three loops on hook), yarn over and draw through
one loop (three loops on hook). Yarn over, draw through two loops twice.
Step 1:

Take hook out and leave a long loop
Step 2:

Step 3: pick up loop from color 1
