Star Blanket Update

Oh how much fun it is to crochet these stars! And I’m falling in love more and more with this StonewashedXL yarn. It’s cotton(70%) but feels soft like wool, but then without the itch, if you know what I mean.
Doesn’t this stack of stars look wonderful?

And then look at them all layed out! Can you already imagine what the blanket will look like?

I am going to crochet a natural color around  all the stars and then connect them.

As you can see I still got a lot of work to do!

  1. Hello Atty, Wow, you have been very busy! I'm loving how it is all coming together, you are so clever with your ideas!!!
Please, please would you mind posting how to crochet the diamond, I would love to have a go but couldn't find a pattern for it so far (checking the library books!!) I reckon attaching the diamonds to one another would make a sort of harlequin pattern which would also look nice, what do you think? (I'm working on a harlequin blanket, but they are squares instead of diamonds).
    Happy crocheting!!!

  2. Dank je! Ik vind jouw wandkleed ook fantastisch! Jij houdt zo te zien ook van quilts 🙂
En echt 'get your hands on some Stonewashed' 😉 het is zo mooi!
    Groetjes,
    Atty

  4. The stars look awesome. I bet this is going to be a most wonderful blanket. And you're right with the wool. It looks soft and snuggly, I think I'll have to try this wool as well. Have a nice sunny day, Viola.
