Groovy Flower Square

It wasn’t easy to get a 5 petal flower into a square but I did it!

Materials:

You can use any kind of yarn with matching hook size.

Square made with a cotton yarn 50g/125m and hook 3mm: 14x14cm/5.5″
Square made with dk yarn 100g/295m and hook 4mm: 16x16cm/6.3″

Abbreviations US terms:

beg beginning
ch chain
ch-sp chain space
dc double crochet
dtr double treble
edc extended double crochet

hdc half double crochet

slst slipstitch
st stitch/stitches
sp space
tr treble crochet

10 dc in ring

2dc in every stitch.

[slst, (1sc, 1dc) in next st, 5dc in next st, (1dc. 1sc) in next st] 5x

[slst in sc previous round, 1sc in next st, 1hdc in next st, 2dc in next st, 3dc in next st, 2dc in next st, 1hdc in next st, 1sc in nxt st, slst in next, skip slst previous round] 5x
