Materials:
You can use any kind of yarn with matching hook size.
Square made with a cotton yarn 50g/125m and hook 3mm: 14x14cm/5.5″
Square made with dk yarn 100g/295m and hook 4mm: 16x16cm/6.3″
Abbreviations US terms:
beg beginning
ch chain
ch-sp chain space
dc double crochet
dtr double treble
edc extended double crochet
hdc half double crochet
slst slipstitch
st stitch/stitches
sp space
tr treble crochet
Note:
Extended Double Crochet starts out like a normal dc, yarn over once and insert hook, draw up a loop (three loops on hook), yarn over and draw through one loop (three loops on hook). Yarn over, draw through two loops twice.
